I am in the process of trying to put together a catalog of all the
music the chorus has performed in the past. I have hard
copies of most of it, but I have not as yet started the serious work of
figuring
out exactly what I have (and where to store it).
I considered scanning all the material so that I could upload it to the
Chorus website, but it quickly became apparent that I
don't have the
server storage capacity to do this.
In addition, there are
copyright issues with most of the material that could
cause problems
down the line.
I have scanned some of the "public domain" (PD) material already and
can upload it to the website as required (or I can
email copies of it
to Chorus members who don't already have it in their possession). If
the Director comes up with additional
material that should be added, I
can do that easily enough.
The SEE files are in PDF (= notation) format and the HEAR files are in
MIDI format.
You'll need Adobe Reader (installed on most browsers) to read PDF files
and an audio program
like QuickTime or Windows Media Player to hear MIDI files.
