IRISH VILLAGE SESSION - corrected starting date
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The Monday evening (6 pm - 8 pm) session at the Irish Village in West Yarmouth will be starting up for this season on
Monday 6/2 (not Memorial Day Monday). All musicians are welcome.

FRIDAY 5/16 SESSION CANCELLED
-----------------------------------------------------
No session at McGann's (see next paragraph) because of a wedding rehearsal party. Back to normal next week (5/23).

"WHAT'S IN A NAME?" DEPT.
---------------------------------------------
Our Falmouth session pub has changed name once again - it's back to "McGann's" again, after being "Chasers" for a few
months. The pub logo, featuring traditional music instruments, has also been restored. No reason given for the various name
changes but we're happy to have the old name back, since it connects our pub with the well-known one in Doolin, Co. Clare.

IRISH MUSIC WORKSHOPS
-----------------------------------------
Fiddlers Jean Sagara and Clayton March are preparing a set of workshops and would like to see who might be interested in
participating.  Dates are Monday, April 28th and Monday, May 19th, time 7 to 9 pm at O'Shea's Olde Inn in West Dennis.
Price is $30 for one of the workshops, $50 if you wish to take both. Workshops are intended for all instruments, not just
fiddle.  For more information contact Jean at fiddlebean (at) hotmail (dot) com.

ARCHIVE
---------------
I'll be starting an "archive" section of this website with this edition. It will contain links that have been on the main page and,
although no longer "news", might still be of interest to folks who don't check this page every week. You'll find it further down
the page between "Calendar Details" and "Regularly Scheduled Events".
